CLEO provides in-language energy efficiency outreach to the community by providing no-cost energy-saving seminars to the Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Hispanic, Indian, and African-American communities. These programs discuss simple energy efficiency strategies and provide information on SoCalGas residential rebates and income-qualified programs. The CLEO program has been empowering Southern California consumers with ‘Energy Knowledge for Real Power’ savings for over a decade.

Green School Program

CLEO is proud to be a part of your community. We take pride in our commitment to not only inform home and business owners, but also educate our children of the community early and promote a healthy and efficient lifestyle. We provide participating schools with events, contests, and fundraisers to help promote energy efficiency and raise money for schools in appreciation for their participation and interest in our programs.

Community Booths

The CLEO program provides customers with information on energy efficiency SoCalGas programs at various community events. We have representatives who speak English, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese to help the customers save energy, money, and the environment. LIGHTING

•   Replace incandescent bulbs with CFL’s.
•   Replace incandescent torchieres.
•   Use T-8 & electronic ballast.

Did you know…

If you replace 5 incandescent bulbs of 100 watts with 5 CFL’s 25 watts each, you can save up to $112 per year.

Use a high-efficiency natural gas furnace.
Test and seal leaky air ducts.
Install or upgrade wall & attic insulation.
Caulk & weather-strip drafty windows and doors.
Set thermostat at 68° F.

AIR CONDITIONING

Install or upgrade wall & attic insulation.
Temperature set at 78° F.
Keep circulation coil clean and replace filter regularly.
Keep A/C unit away from direct sun light.
